Numera® respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we help protect it when you visit our website, use a Libris device, use the CareOne™ app or portal, contact our team, or interact with our products and services

We may collect personal information when you purchase a product, create an account, use a Numera® device or app, contact support, or fill out a form on our website

  • Emergency contacts
  • Care Circle contacts
  • Support messages and service notes

When you use a Libris device, Home Safety Hub, CareOne™, or a related Numera® service, we may also collect information such as:

  • Device status

  • Signal strength
  • Alert history
  • Button press events
  • Fall detection events
  • Location information during an alert or when location features are enabled
  • App or portal activity
  • Notification preferences
  • Service and diagnostic information

2. Information collected during an alert

When an alert is triggered, information may be shared with Numera®, our Care Center, monitoring partners, emergency services, and your chosen contacts so help can be coordinated

This may include:

  • The device user’s name
  • Registered address
  • Device location, when available
  • Emergency contact details
  • Care Circle contacts
  • Alert details
  • Call notes or recordings, where permitted by law

This information helps responders understand what is happening and send the right support when needed

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to provide, support, improve, and protect our products and services

This may include:

  • Setting up and managing your account
  • Processing orders and service requests
  • Activating and supporting devices
  • Providing access to CareOne™ and related portals
  • Delivering alerts and notifications
  • Connecting users to 24/7 professional monitoring
  • Helping identify location during an alert
  • Notifying emergency contacts or Care Circle members
  • Providing customer support
  • Improving product performance and reliability
  • Sending important service updates
  • Meeting legal, safety, and regulatory requirements

We may also use de-identified or aggregated information to improve our products and services. This information does not identify you personally

4. Location information

Some Numera® products and services use location information to help support emergency response and Care Circle notifications

Location information may be used to:

  • Help responders identify where a device user is during an alert
  • Share location with chosen contacts when needed
  • Support device features in the CareOne™ app or portal
  • Improve service reliability and performance

Location features may vary by device, service plan, signal strength, environment, and user settings

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information

We may share personal information only when needed to provide or support our products and services, including with:

  • Care Center and monitoring partners
  • Emergency services
  • Chosen emergency contacts or Care Circle members
  • Dealers, resellers, or service providers involved in your account
  • Payment, shipping, technology, analytics, and customer support providers
  • Legal, regulatory, or safety authorities when required or permitted by law

We require service providers to handle personal information responsibly and use it only for the services they provide to Numera®.

6. Care Circle and shared access

If you invite someone to your Care Circle, that person may be able to see certain information related to your device or account, depending on their access level

This may include:

  • Device status
  • Alerts
  • Activity history
  • Location during an alert or when enabled
  • Notification preferences
  • Care Circle details

You are responsible for choosing who you invite to your Care Circle and for keeping those contacts up to date

7. Cookies and website analytics
